We bought a matress and box springs for this full size bed frame from the 70's.
It kinda dwarfs the bed frame... and Tim. He can barely see over it!!
The bottom of the mattress is at the top of the foot board. The box-springs along take up the space intended for it and the mattress.
The headboard is only 2 inches above the mattress.
Jynx: That bed is really high! How am I supposed to jump up there and pester the guests?
Tim: You aren't... that's the point.
