Meme Day 2: X all the Y

Today's meme is technically called "X all the Y", but that's just the format that it takes.  You replace X and Y with something, depending on the take on the meme at the given moment.  It originally started from a Hyperbole and a Half blog post, where the author was explaining how she cyclically sets out to be an adult, but then realizes how much responsibility it is.  The two particular images from her blog that started the meme are:

Of course, as memes do, many takes on this quickly appeared.  The first time Steph saw this, it was actually on that blog, and she didn't realize it was a meme.  Katie was trying to get her pumped up to clean ALL the house, so showed Steph that blog post.  Steph mentioned it to me, and I informed her that it had actually turned into a meme!
I think this one was created with our dogs in mind

Mythbusters.  That would be a great show to watch if we had cable...or TV at all.

This is how I feel when I make smoothies.  Or how when I'm trying to season things, but with ALL the spices/herbs!

Boston Tea Party anyone?

Get it?  Charlie and the Chocolate Factory?

(this will tie into another meme later)

From Beyonce's "All the Single Ladies"

Here's a variant that uses both of the originals (and incorporates another meme that may or may not be covered later - Y U NO guy)

Ah the nerdery.  That's one thing that I love about memes - they frequently (well...maybe just not uncommonly) make reference to things of general nerdtasticism.

Then there was that time that Steph attempted this on our newly hung whiteboard (sorry, Steph attempted to explain ALL the things in that post, so you'll have to scroll down a bit for the whiteboard.  Also, I still contend that there's a big fiery-eyed monster in the blank whiteboard picture saying "FUS RO DAH!".  Thirdly, this parenthetical note is getting really long.)  The drawing didn't turn out so well (as mentioned in the post), but then again no one accused us of being artists.

And there you have a large smattering of "X all the Y" memes.  Make sense?  Great!

I'd just like to add a little disclaimer that I forgot to put on the intro.  This is the world of the wide web, so if you go Googling these memes, there's always the chance that you will find something off-color.  Just so you can't say I didn't tell you.
