Steph & Katie's Excellent Adventure: The Stats

To celebrate 30 years of Katie's life 65 days late, we left 2 weeks ago to drive 2343.6 miles through 9 states and 9 major cities.  Along the way we saw license plates for 40 US states, 2 Canadian provinces, and 1 "consulate" plate.
We acquired 6 of the 15 items in the scavenger hunt that Mindy made for us and ate at 3 fast food chains that we don't have at home.  We walked 95 city blocks in one day through the Garden District and the French Quarter.  We stopped for gas 7 times and saw a total of 26 emergency vehicles responding to calls.  St. Louis got 3.8 inches of snow the night we drove in and the snow that started to fall in Nashville as we were leaving totaled 1.1 inches.  I took 223 pictures to chronicle our journey and 22 of them are food :)  I gained 2 pounds.

And what was Tim doing while I was gone?

This

and this

and a little bit of this

And he videotaped (but did not participate in) this:

He was fine... hardly noticed I was gone:)

A few other numbers unrelated to the trip:

It is currently -1 outside with a wind chill of -15.  We got about 6 inches of snow in the past 48ish hours, which means 2 days I have not been able to make it up to work.
