Family, Baseball, and Garage Shelves

Although we haven't been galavanting all over the country for 7 weddings in a summer this year, we have been keeping pretty busy.

The weekend of the 4th of July we went out west to visit my dad's side of the family.  It was a great weekend and I got to see a few relatives I hadn't seen in awhile, as well as meet the 4 new babies that have been born into the family since the first of the year.  There were 47 of us all together, and we were only missing 3, so our family is currently at an even 50 from Grandpa on down.  Since we're such a crowd, we spend a lot of time outside having picnics, playing games, visiting, and of course... riding the 3-wheeler and 4-wheeler.  We also had excellent participation in the 3rd Annual Betty R. Isaacson Memorial Family Fun Run/Walk.  I think my hubby got 5th place in the 4 mile run...great job, Honey!

Tim and I also attended a minor league baseball game with his company.  It was a double-header with AWESOME fireworks.  And a good time was had by all.

Additionally, in preparation for upcoming home renovations, Tim has been working on organizing the garage/ workshop.  He built these shelves and has almost finished building his workbench.

There was a piece of wood in the way, so he "had to" use the circular saw to cut it off...right next to the breaker box.  Of course we couldn't turn off the power, because how would he run the circular saw with no electricity?

Ta-Da!  Shelves = complete... at least this set of shelves.
